A Calgarian expresses gratitude for Home Upgrades Program
We recently collaborated with Alberta Ecotrust Foundation and ENMAX to share a participant's experience with the Home Upgrades Program.
Like many Albertans, Estebana knew her home was in need of upgrades but she couldn’t afford the high costs associated with installing a new furnace, insulation, or air sealing. When her furnace started making strange noises, Estebana decided to apply for support through the Home Upgrades Program, a deep energy retrofit program designed to support lower-income households living in Calgary, Edmonton, and Canmore.
Participants like Estebana receive free home upgrades thanks to generous funding partners like ENMAX, Alberta Real Estate Foundation, City of Calgary, Calgary Foundation, City of Edmonton, McConnell Foundation, and Suncor Energy Foundation. Together, we are helping to improve the comfort, safety, and affordability of Albertan homes.
